Well, we finally got a real blast of winter here in northeast Ohio. By the time this is done in the wee hours, we might have upwards of 10 inches on the ground.
I posted these images for all of our friends down in Florida...
A SHORT TIME AFTER I SHOVELED A PATH TO THE FRONT DOOR, IT PRETTY MUCH FILLED BACK IN IMMEDIATELY. IT WAS SNOWING AT THE RATE OF ABOUT AN INCH AN HOUR AT THIS POINT.
I STARTED TO SHOVEL THE DRIVEWAY AND A COUPLE OF NEIGHBORS CAME BY WITH SNOW BLOWERS TO MAKE QUICK WORK OF IT. IT IS A LOT LIKE LIVING WITH THE AMISH. PEOPLE HERE ARE VERY HELPFUL. WE HAVE AN AWESOME NEIGHBORHOOD.
HERE'S THE BACKYARD WITH A RARE VIEW OF THE BACK NEIGHBORS 300 FEET AWAY. WITH THE LEAVES DOWN AND AFTER THE 11 TREES WE REMOVED, IT LOOKS A LITTLE BARREN.
More later,
Mark
